Things are moving fast now on Lannister Farm. I hope you all managed to enjoy the recent warm weather before storm Hannah. We managed to make use of the weather to prepare the field for planting outdoors. The vegetable plants are coming along nicely now, the warm weather has really helped them establish better with a spurt of new growth. It won’t be long before we are planting outside now.
The cabin for the café is paid for and will be arriving soon. I feel like everything is starting to take shape and heading in the right direction. Having the leaflets made to advertise the pick-your-own strawberry aspect of the farm has really boosted my excitement levels… I am feeling like a child before Christmas (although it might just be the sugar rush from too many chocolate eggs).
I’ve even sorted out a charity raffle prize for the big opening day (I will reveal more in future blogs, so keep reading to find out… ooh the suspense). Be sure to come along on the 6th July and enter the raffle for a good cause. It is sure to be a grand day with lots of activities and things happening. I honestly, can’t hold in my excitement now.
… to be continued.
